Charity Organizations

American Humane Association

I would donate time and money here, because it would be pretty cool to work with animals for a good cause.

American Forests

I would donate time and money here, because it would be fun to work outdoors and help make local forests healthier

Wildlife Conservation Society

I would donate time and money here, because there are many animals around that are on the verge of endangerment or extinction and I'm interested in helping.

Effects on the South

The south is having some problems.  Plantation owners are horrified.  The men and women that used to be their slaves now have just as many rights as they do.  They now are freed, have citizenship, can vote, own property, and hold office.  The morale is down after so many people lost their lives.  Money no longer has nearly as much value.  Cities are in ruins because of the battles fought in the south.

Video Games in School

Click here to see the article.

I think that video games should be used more in school, but only certain ones.  There are some that really get your mind thinking, but are still fun.  With things like time limits and enemies to avoid, you really have to think.  What do you think?

Owner Outraged Charges Not Filed In Deer's Death

A man is not charged after killing a deer at a petting zoo.  Witnesses said that they saw the man scale the 10 foot fence, and stab the deer to death at a private petting zoo.  He claimed that it was in self defense, so the court declined the charges that the petting zoo owner tried pressing even though he was intoxicated with a 0.09% blood alcohol level.

Do you think he should be charged?

Texting teens get the wrong number -- a REALLY wrong number

A 15 and 16 year old from Montana sent a text message asking for some marijuana to who they thought was a dealer.  Turns out it was a the local sheriff.  He turned the it over to the narcotics officer, who met them the next day.  He showed them his badge and put them on record, but neither of them were faced with charges.   Do you think that they should have been charged?
